Andreea Diaconu for Ipekyol Fall 2013 Campaign
Turkey is a beautiful country with its magnificent landscape, rich history and great culture. Anyone who attends the state, even by accident, is exposed to coming back there in future. Besides the agricultural side and tourism there is another sphere of the Turkish economics - textile. And this is exactly what we are going to discuss. This time it is an ad campaign by Ipekyol with striking Andreea Diaconu.
Ipekyol Fall 2013 Campaign: Andreea Diaconu
Ipekyol, the women's textile brand, is operating within the Ayaydın Miroglio Group, which views itself to be a "multinational brand, designing the most wanted women's clothing and accessories, giving a whole different shopping experience at locations all around Europe and one to inspire the lifestyle of a modern lady". Besides Ipekyol, there also two other labels: Machka and Twist. The group has been working since 1986 and started out as a family business. Reading all those goals, it becomes clear that Ipekyol is on the way of accomplishment of all the its goals:
Make a reality its founder's dream of extending the historic international and intercultural merging point - the Silk Road from Turkey to the very ends of Europe through creativity...To be accepted by the consumer with full satisfaction in all high quality products, services and work. To create a professionally preferred, additive, dynamic and institutional work place where the organisation learns of the creativity of all employees, who can implement these in real life.
Andreea Diaconu was tapped by the brand to take part in this campaign. The Romanian beauty poses against a plain studio background. The model dons gorgeous outfits by the Turkish label, which are all styled in a very good manner.
Mert & Marcus lensed the girl, while Edward Enninful of
W Magazine was responsible for the photoset's style. I adore the new campaign, as it features anything one can like. Ipekyol Fall 2013 Campaign is another evidence of growing prosperity of Turkey: it is very unique, complelling and chic.
