Twin Set Simona Barbieri, SS 2013

Well, it's two weeks to fall and we though it'd be helpful to brainstorm on the ways to mix up your summer and early fall garb to transition with ease and style of a fashion blogger. You don't need to ditch all of your favorite summer clothes items right the moment September hits but you can also make them look more season appropriate. Shortly speaking, transition in style. What can be more summer-y than denim cut-offs? But you can just as easily wear them in early fall if weather allows. Swap white tanks and crochet tops for dark T-shirts or lightweight sweaters and voila, a more fall-appropriate look is ready. Add a leather jacket and get a badass outfit. White jeans are a summer essential but it doesn't mean they can't be worn well into fall and maybe even winter. It's all a matter of putting an outfit together. Neutral colors like beige and grey look amazing paired with white denim so pair your white denims with a nude or grey sweater, trench coat, and a bag. You'll definitely stand out in a good way. Transition Into Fall With Style

Kimonos are a hit this year. But while these are great for summer and invoke a particular vacation feel they too can be worn in early fall and be a great addition to your look. While crochet kimonos are better left for the beach, solid and especially neutral ones will look great with palazzo pants, slim and loose trousers. They are a great trench coat/cardigan alternative. Last but not least a tank/chemise dress is a great transition piece of clothing. It can be paired with any jacket and instantly look like it was always meant to be worn like this. You can pair your summer print dress with a chunky cardigan for a country style look or wear a maxi chemise dress with a denim or leather jacket for a relaxed urban look. What are you favorite summer pieces with which to transition into fall? We love the combination of a summer skirt (short or maxi) with a chunky knit sweater and a white tank with military style pants.
